Of Ray City, GA passed away Sunday night, November 2, 2003 at Tulsa Regional Hospital in Tulsa, OK following a brief illness. He was born in Delaware C., OK to the late Ross Coo-Wee-Scoo-Wee Constitution and Akey Owens Leaf He was a U.S.Army Veteran, serving during the Korean conflict. He moved to Georgia in 1973 from Jay, OK. He had worked as a truck driver, construction worker and on a tobacco plantation before working in maintenance for schools around Georga.
Survivors include his wife of twenty four years, Margaret Peggy Leaf of Ray City, GA; two sons James Leaf and wife Judy of Nashville, GA; Wesley Leaf and wife Wendi of Enigma, GA; four grandchildren; two sisters, Maggie Keener and husband, Pidgeon of Catoosa, OK, Bertha Hair of Bartlesville; one brother-in-law, Albert Six of Tahlequah; one sister-in-law, Lorene Budder of Kenwood, OK; a host of nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Fred and Archie Leaf, Three Sisters, Mary Six, Barbara Davis, and Betty Jean Davis.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2003 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Flat Creek Cemetery in Berrien County.
