Of Lakeland, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at his residence after a short illness. He was born February 28, 1917 in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Johnnie C. & Ida Harnage Boyette. He is a retired farmer and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ray City, GA.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial in Burnt Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Lakeland is serving the Boyette family.
