Hubert Winston Hendley

Dr. Hubert W. Hendley – 76

Of Nashville, Georgia passed away Friday Dec. 2, 2005 in the Tift Regional Hospital in Tifton, Georgia, after a brief illness. He was born in Berrien County, Georgia, on July 9, 1929 to the Daniel W. and Ollie Lee Green Hendley. Mr. Hendley also resided in Tennessee, Missouri, Michigan, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Florida during his lifetime. After serving four years in the United States Navy, Mr. Hendley served the Lord as a pastor for thirty years. He worked for Teamway Builders building church buildings in many states. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville, Georgia. He served as Chaplain in the Georgia State defense force with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Funeral services were held today, December 4, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in the Hendley Memorial Cemetery.
