Of Lakeland passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born on December 30, 1923 to the late Crum & Dollie Mae Crosby Bridges. Mr Bridges served in the United States Navy. He retired from Civil Service after 32 years of service then worked for Patten Seed Company for 20 years. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Survivors Include: Wife, Mary Bridges, Lakeland, GA; Son, Al Bridges, Lakeland, GA; 3 Sisters, Mary Czarney, Lakeland, GA, Margaret Lightsey, Valdosta, GA and Janice Carter, Lakeland, GA; 2 Brothers, Jack Bridges, Blackshear, GA, Bobby Bridges, Jacksonville, FL and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 30, 2010 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following at Riverside Cemetery in Berrien County, GA.
