Affectingly known as "Ma's" to her family and those who loved her well enough to call her by this name, passed away January 9, 2013 at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lenghthy illness. She lived in Naylor, GA most of her life was born to the late Henry Eugene and Annie Lizzie Dupree Cone December 31, 1926 in Thomas County, GA. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by 3 Sons Jack Morgan, Jr., Larry Morgan, Robert Morgan, and a daughter Jean Schroer.
Survivors:
Husband of 70 years – Jack C. Morgan, Sr. – Naylor, GA
Daughters and Son-in-Law – Roxanne and James Stith – Stockton, GA
Brenda Birdsong – Lakeland, GA
Son – Jerry Morgan – Newport, NC
13 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Tiffany Green shared her special compassion to her grandmother by being her caregiver during the latter days of her life.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services of Lakeland with burial in Good Hope Cemetery in Naylor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home between 6:00 and 8:00 P.M. Thursday. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
