Ilo Mary Negron

Ilo Mary Negron, age 63, of Lake Park, Georgia, passed away surrounded by family the evening of Monday, October 19, 2026. She was born to loving parents, Edwin Frances Schmelter and Nona Lavonia Bennett Schmelter in Highland Falls, NY on August 26, 1963.

Ilo was a loving and devoted mother who cherished her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, whom she dearly loved to dote on. She found joy in the simple pleasures of reading and listening to music.

She had a gentle soul and a kind, loving spirit that touched the lives of so many. Ilo will be remembered for the love she shared, the warmth she brought to others, and the lasting impact she had on all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Naomi Schmelter and Patricia Schmelter.

Ilo is survived by her loving daughters, Alexandra Negron (Paul Wilkins) of Lake Park, GA, Martha Negron (Ikeyma McKentry) of Lake Park, GA and Edwina Coffman (Randy) of Dasher, GA; grandchildren, Margaret Negron, Dylan Negron and Ayden Negron; sisters, Dorothy Speck (James) of PA and Carol Voland (Brian) of PA; grandniece, Naomi Coffman and grandnephew Edwin Coffman.
