Imogene Wells Neel

Imogene Neel, 64, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born June 4, 1952 in Port Charlotte, FL to the late George and Clynie Hodges Wells. Mrs. Neel enjoyed being a homemaker, along with raising her children & grandchildren, going to Biloxi and spending time with her cats and dogs. She is preceded in death by her step father, Franklin Buddy Parker, Brothers, Buddy Wells, Johnnie Wells and Kay Wells, Sisters, Lucille Chambers and Betty Stevens.
Survivors include: Husband of 42 years; Lawrence Neel, Naylor, GA, Daughters and Son in Laws; Theresa and Earl Winston Durrance, Jr., Naylor, GA; Melissa and Tim Pickett, Valdosta, GA; Stephanie and Mike Anderson, Naylor, GA; Sons and Daughter in laws; Tim and Colleen Neel, Wyoming, Pennsylvania; Jerry and Lori Lawson, Myakka City, FL; and William Neel Lauren Giddens, Valdosta, GA, 15 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a brother, Hudson Wells, Punta Gorda, FL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Philadelphia Baptist Church, 3091 Troupeville Rd., Quitman, GA. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in Cypress Grove Cemetery, 3250 Cypress Grove Rd, Grand Ridge, FL. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
