Of Lakeland, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at SGMC Lakeland Villa. She was born on August 14, 1929 in Nashville, GA to the late James E. and Lilly Mae (Kirby) Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Metts and a son, Jimmy Austin Metts.
Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Larry & Susan Metts of Lakeland, GA, Carroll & Rhonda Metts of Naylor, GA, Jerry & DeLenda Metts of Lakeland, GA; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; Sister, Vera Mae Metts of Valdosta, GA; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Lakeland, GA. There will be no formal visitation. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Metts Family is being cared for by the compassionate and caring staff of Music Funeral Services.
