Of Nashville, passed away early Monday morning December 29, 2008 at his daughter's house in Orange Park, Florida. He was born May 15, 1924 in Polk County, Florida to the late Abram and Roenia Fountain Register. He served four years in the Navy during World War II. He was a Quality Control Inspector for the Federal Government. He was a member of the Ray City United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 Wednesday December 31, 2008 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Empire Cemetery. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. December 31, 2008 at the funeral home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
