Iris "Mama Dub" Brogdon

Of Lakeland, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Berrien County on November 5, 1925 to the late Bennie & Estelle Gurganious Sirmans. She was a homemaker, assisted her husband W.R. "Dub" Brogdon in their farming operation. She later worked at the Costal Plains EOA Nutrition Center in Lanier County for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband W.R. "Dub" Brogdon, infant daughter, sister Agnes Stone, two brothers I.B Sirmans and Issac Sirmans.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening at the Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
