Of Lake Park passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 in South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Berrien County, GA on September 15, 1912 to the late Ira Chester & Molly Myers Lord. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Smith of Macon, GA, 2 sisters, Lula Cannady of Jacksonville, FL and Minnie Lee Tedder of Pavo, GA and a brother, Eugene Lord of Jacksonville, FL.
Survivors Include, 16 Nieces and Nephews, A number of great Nieces and Nephews
Funeral services was held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 28, 2006 in Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Boykin officiating. Graveside services were held at 3:00 P.M in Glenhaven Memorial Gardens in Macon, Georgia with Rev. Mark Addington officiating.
