Irvin Quincy Jenkins Sr.

Irvin Quincy Jenkins, 79 of Berrien County, GA passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 in Oglethorpe, GA. He was born July 20, 1934 in Berrien County, GA to the late Daniel Hilton Jenkins and Sallie Pauline Bennett Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Sirmans Jenkins and a daughter, Jolly Harper. Along with prouldy serving in the U.S. Army he retired from Chevron Oil Company in Louisiana. He loved hard work, Fishing and spending time withhis family and friends. He is now fishing in Heaven with his wife and daughter awaiting more family tojoin them.

He is survived by his children, Barbara Jean Jones of Louisiana, Tammy Rhonda Jenkins of Mississippi; Sallie Leeann Jenkins of Louisiana and Irvin Quincy Jenkins, Jr. of Washington; his companion, Addie Horne of Oglethorpe, GA; a sister, Lorene Fallin of Alapaha, GA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.



A graveside Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in the Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City, GA at 11:00 A.M.
