Irvin Craven, Jr. – 65
Of Erie, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009 in the Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 27, 1943 in Boulogne, Florida to the late Irvin Myers and Edith Chauncey Craven. He worked as a long distance truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and listening to country music. He is preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Jewell, and two brothers, Earl Myers Craven and Vernon Craven.

His loving children, Alverna Diane Gajdarik of Hillsdale, ILL; John Michael Craven and his wife Jessica of Erie, ILL. and Virgina Marie Jinni Craven of Hillsdale, ILL. Three grandchildren, Anthony Tony Monroe Craven, Avery Martin Lambuth and Rebekka Lindsey Craven. Two sisters, Mattie Sayles of Stuart FL. and Betty Jean Honeycutt of Ft. Pierce, FL. Three brothers, Emmett E. and Alice Craven of Winnsboro, S.C., Jimmy and Jean Craven of Waycross, GA. and Eddie David Taylor of Fargo, GA. A number of nieces and nephews. One sister-in-law, Kathy Craven of Coco, FL.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Wayfare Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, May 23, 2009 from 9:00 till service time.
