Of Ray City, GA passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 24, 1949 in Palatka, FL to the late Dewey and Bethany (Gurganious) Sapp. He served in the United States Army. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, J.M. Sapp; Sister, Viola Hamilton; 3 half-brothers, James Sapp, Jasper Sapp and John Henry Sapp.
Survivors include: Wife Bonnie Reliford Sapp of Ray City, GA, Son and Daughter-in-law Thomas and Debora Sapp Nashville, GA., Daughter and Son-in-law Sabrina and Benny Dean II Lakeland, GA., Daughter Renae Sapp (John Gould) of Ray City, GA., Grandchildren: Devin Bailey, Peyton Sapp, Benny Dean III, Chloe Sapp and Sheridan Sapp; 3 Brothers and Sister-in-law Kirby Sapp (Becky Register) of Lakeland, GA., Monroe and Dot Sapp of Lakeland, GA., Gwendolyn and Diane Sapp of Ray City, GA, Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Empire Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
