Jack Bridges – 86

Of Blackshear, GA passed away July 26, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL after a brief illness. He was born on May 30, 1927 in Lanier County, GA to the late Crum & Dollie Mae Crosby Bridges. He served his country in the United States Army and retired from Jefferson Smurfitt Paper Mill. He was a member of Five Points Baptist Church in Fernandina Beach, FL and loved gardening and the outdoors. Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his parents and 4 Sisters, Betty Robinson, Peggy Preddy, Myrtle Johnson and, an Infant. 2 Brothers, Crum Bridges Jr. and Hute Bridges.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Monday July 29, 2013 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services in Lakeland, GA with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
