of Rt. 1 Box 59, Lakeland, GA passed away Tuesday, February 13th, 2007 at the Smith Northview Hospital after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry E. Wayne Fanning and Grace Ester Brunner Fanning, along with a son, James Fanning. He was retired from the United States Air Force. He also was a member of the Lakeland Masonic Lodge #434, the Shriners Temple of Albany, the Model T Club of Valdosta, and a deacon at New Bethel Baptist Church of Valdosta.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 16, 2007 at New Bethel Church, 5206 New Bethel Road in Valdosta. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the New Bethel Baptist Church Memorial Fund. The family would like to thank Dr. Coleman, Dr. Tri and his staff, and Smith Northview Hospital during Jacks time of illness.
