Of Ray City, Ga. passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in the Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. He was born February 28, 1931 in Berrien County to the late Hardy & Bessie Cooper Giddens. He worked as an Insurance Salesman and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville, Georgia. Survivors include: Wife: Jean Studstill Giddens, Ray City, Ga., Daughters: Julia Yow, Four Oak, N.C., Suzanne Chance , Highpoint, N.C., Son: David Giddens, Ray City, Ga.
A private family memorial service was held Friday, March 9, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Beaver Dam cemetery in Ray City. There will not be a formal visitation. In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to each ones charity of choice.
Music Funeral Services, Lakeland is serving the Giddens family.
