He was born in Clinch County, GA on December 11, 1947 to the late W.J. and Trudie Dorminey Leggett. He was a Retired Carpet Layer by Trade in the Boat Industry. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a Brother, T. J. Leggett.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, February 7, 2013 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Burnt Church Cemetery.
