Jackie Adams Griffis

Jackie Adams Griffis, 72, of Twin Lakes, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center.

Born on September 10, 1953, in Valdosta, Georgia, Jackie was the beloved daughter of the late Earl Adams and Kate Lee Adams. Jackie found great joy in antiquing alongside her husband, shopping excursions with friends, and listening to live music. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family and friends, creating lasting memories with those she held dear.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her sister, Gwen Oreander.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her devoted husband of 33 years, Alan Griffis of Twin Lakes, Georgia; her children, Jared “Bleau” Crawford (Jennifer) of Quitman, Georgia, and Travis Wade Crawford; her grandchildren, Dylan Wade Crawford, Brandon Dent, Brody Crawford, and Summer Huffmaster; her great-grandson, Ollie; and her siblings, Brenda Snow of Quitman, Georgia, Rocky Adams (Robbie) of Valdosta, Georgia, and Dan Adams (Sabrina) of Valdosta, Georgia; her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Griffis (Lannette) of Lake Park, Georgia and Gary Griffis (Brenda) of Hahira, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many special friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2026 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services of Valdosta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the funeral home. The family invites anyone attending that would like to join them for lunch following the service, they will be gathering at 12:00 PM at The Table Chapel, 5474 Worthington Triangle, Lake Park, Georgia, 31636. The graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Welcome Hill Church of Christ Cemetery, Quitman, Georgia.
