Of Barney, GA passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on March 29, 2010 in Valdosta, GA to Derek Skinner and Michelle Edwards. Jacob loved the movies - Battleship, Top Gun, Cars and Planes. Jacob loved being outside where he was always on the go. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, John and Mary Skinner, Sr., Claude Blanton, Charles and Susie Nell Carlisle, Perry Edwards, and Wilma Bryan Bargarnier.
Survivors include his Parents, Derek Skinner and Michelle Edwards of Barney, GA; Brother, Colin Williams Skinner of Barney, GA; Paternal Grandparents, John (Kathy) Skinner, Jr. of Clyattville, GA; Great Grandmother, Mary Blanton of Valdosta, GA; Maternal Grandparents, Ruth Hiler of Barney, GA, Charlie (Mollie) Edwards of Madison, FL, John (Sherri) Hiler of Valdosta, GA; Great Grandparents, Lee Roy Williams, Aunts, Kristen Skinner, Casie Griffin, Sharon Johnson, Karen Barbier; Uncles, David Griffin, Timmy Bass, Tag Gutbrod, Don Johnson, Chuckie Gutbrod and Ben Edwards.
A celebration of Jacob’s life will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of the Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, starting at 11:00 AM. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
