James Henry Benefield – 71

Of Lakeland Passed away Thursday morning December 19, 2013 in South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born November 22, 1942 to the Late Henry W and Edna Irene Singletary Benefield in Berrien County. Mr. Benefield was a mechanic by trade, was known as the" carburetor man". As well as his parents he was preceded in death by a Sister, Gladys Brogdon. He attended the Lakeland Church of God.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday December 23, 2013 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services, with burial to follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Berrien County, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00P.M.
