James “Jimmy” Bennett
Of Stockton passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 25, 1955 in Homerville, GA to Janie Doris Bennett and the late Willie “Bill” Bennett. Mr. Bennett worked for the GDOT for numerous years on road maintenance and was a member of Stockton Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors hunting arrowheads. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include; Mother Janie Doris Bennett of Stockton, GA, Sons and Daughters-in-Law Carlos & Cindee Bennett Stockton, GA, Cody & Ambur Bennett, Homerville, GA, Casey & Darlla Bennett, Nashville, GA, Dustin & Katie Bennett, Homerville, GA, 12 Grandchildren; Lexi, Ansley, Autumn, Cason, Chelby, Carsen, Caden, Madaline, Jeremiah, Noah, Micah, Mason, Brother and Sister-in-Law Neal & Rhonda Bennett, Stockton, GA
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Stockton Baptist Church with burial to follow in Good Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 10:00 to the 11:00 Service time at the church.
