Of Waycross, Georgia passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening, March 23, 2011 at Satilla Regional Medical Center. He was born November 24, 1942 in Lakeland, Georgia to Hoke Smith and Commie Brack Cribb. He is a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Army. He received the National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; and the Good Conduct Medal along with several other accommodations.

The family will have visitation on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Music Funeral Services in Lakeland, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial in Fender Cemetery.
