James Levis Dasher – 57
Of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Sunday May 23, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville. He was born in Valdosta to the late Clifford and Mildred (Crews) Dasher on May 12, 1964. Levis received a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Valdosta State College and was employed as a music teacher with the Duval County School System. He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Dasher and his Mother-in-Law Joyce Chambless.
Survivors include: His wife, Carol Marie Dasher, Orange Park, FL; 1 Son Jonathan Chambless Dasher Orange Park, FL; Mother Mildred Dasher Lake Park, GA; 2 Brothers Harold Dasher (Denise) Lake Park, GA, Tony Dasher (Tiffinee) Lake Park, GA; Father-in-Law Paul Chambless, Sylacauga, AL; Nieces and Nephews Austin Dasher (Brittany) Lake Park, GA, Tyler Dasher (Elizabeth) Ft. Bragg, NC Katie Dasher, Lake Park, GA; Dalton Dasher, Lake Park, GA; Hannah Hughston, Sylacauga, AL; Sarah Cherry (Rusty) Hokes Bluff, AL;. Terry Hughston (Candyce) Northport, AL; Sister-in-Law Theresa Hughston (Lynn) and 6 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 27, 2021 in the Francis Lake Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Road, Jacksonville, Florida.
