He was born on January 22, 1922 to the late Beman M. and Lillian Mae Davis and had lived in Centre, Alabama most of his life before moving to Barney, Georgia three years ago. Mr. Davis served in the United States Army and he was a WWII Veteran. His wife, Doris I. Davis and son, James Larry Davis, preceded him in death.
