James "Jim" Emory Pafford

James “Jim” Emory Pafford, age 61, of Lakeland, Georgia, passed away, Monday, September 13, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. Jim was born May 7, 1960 in Lakeland, Georgia to Frances Jean Hepburn and John Benjamin Pafford, Sr. He enjoyed being outside, hunting, fishing, gigging frogs and listening to music. He was a farmer. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Mark Roland; aunt and uncles, Nancy and Billy (Fuzz) Pafford, Bobby (Boose) Pafford, cousin, Bryan Pafford and great-nephew, Levin Pafford
Survivors include his siblings: Ben Pafford and wife Janet of Lakeland, Georgia and Karin Pafford Roland of Valdosta, Georgia; nieces and nephews: David Pafford, John Pafford and wife Heather, Bob Pafford and wife Tiffany, Marcus Roland, Katharine Roland, James Roland and Hunter Pafford, Cousin, Tim Pafford and wife Theresa of Adel, GA; a host of great nieces and nephews along with extended family and friends.
Graveside memorial rites will be held at 11:00 o’clock AM, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Fender Cemetery, Lakeland, Georgia. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
