Of Valdosta, GA passed away in his home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. He was born on April 18, 1943 in Ocilla, GA to the late Clifford and Mildred (Owens) Evans. Along with his parents he is proceeded in death by his son-in-law, Robert Guthrie, and brothers C.W. Evans, Ernest Evans, Dewey Evans, and Charles Evans. Mr. Evans was married to the love of his life, Patricia, for 57 wonderful years.

Survivors include his Wife, Pat Evans of Valdosta, GA; 3 Daughters & Son-in-law: Janiece Guthrie of Valdosta, GA; Melissa & Bill Suggs of Valdosta, GA; Darlene Fowler of Pavo, GA; 2 Sons & Daughters-in-law: Keith & Melisa Evans of Lake Park, GA; Kevin & Daphney Evans of Hahira, GA; Grandchildren: Seth and Jasey, Kiersten, Brianna, Violet, Blake and Kenzi, Bill, Zayne, Brett, Marisa, Critt, Aaron, Skyler; Great Grandchildren: Briley, Lilly, Layla, Lindy, Mason, Payton, A.J., Dalton, Hunter, Keeley; Siblings: Joyce of Bainbridge, GA; Glenda and Lynn of Bainbridge, GA; Billy and Linda of Macon, GA; Jerry and Anita of North Carolina; Jimmy of Panama City, FL; Martha Jean and Jack of Lakeland, GA, and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:00AM in the chapel of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta, with burial following in the Lake Park city cemetery.
