James "Kenny" Fender – 48
Of Valdosta passed away Thursday Afternoon, November 20, 2008 at Froedtert Medical Center in Wisconsin after a sudden illness. He was born on September 11, 1960 in Germany to the James and Patricia Knight Fender of Valdosta. Kenny worked for Southern Converting & Machine Erectors of Valdosta as a Electrician and was a member of Border Line Hunting Club in Lake City, FL. He was Baptist by faith and was preceded in death by his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Jack and Sarah McIntyre, Grandfather, Coston Fender and Grandparents, Ernest & Lucille Knight.
Survivors Include: Wife, Libby McIntyre Fender, Valdosta; Son & Daughter-in-law, Jamie and Mary Fender, Nashville; Daughter, Paige Fender, Valdosta; Grandchildren: Allison, Kaitlyn, Kennyse, Coston, Ceagen and Kylee; Brother & Sister-in-law, Ricky and Janet Fender, Jacksonville, FL; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law, Phyllis &Terry Lokey, Valdosta ; Grandmother, Ruby Fender, Valdosta; Special Friends, Cary & Valerie Corbin and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with the Rev. Roger Denham officiating. Burial will follow in Empire Cemetery in Lanier County. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon, November 24, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
