James Franklin Fletcher

James Franklin Fletcher, age 73, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. He was born to loving parents, Frank Fletcher and Avanell Brown Fletcher in Hahira, GA on July 10, 1953.

He found joy in the simple things he loved—hunting, fishing, studying his Bible, and the thrill of competition shooting. But more than anything, he cherished his family. They were the greatest love of his life, and the time he shared with them meant more to him than anything else.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Betty Francis Mosley.

James is survived by his children, Ashley Fletcher of Elsmere, KY and Amy Fletcher of Rison, AR; brother, Frank Fletcher (Darla) of Valdosta, GA; sisters Vickie Coleman of Hahira, GA and Bonnie Jones of Valdosta, GA and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm, Saturday, September 26, 2026. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
