Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 30, 1936 to the late Jerry Foster and Mary Kaz Brewer. He retired from the United States Air Force, Saft and was a member of New Covenant Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Granville Foster.

His survivors include his

Daughter – Teresa Singer of Valdosta, GA;
Son – James Foster, Jr of Valdosta, GA;
Nephews – Jerry Foster and Charles Foster;
Niece – Sharon Foster
Grandchildren – Dana Koch, Jennifer Kraft, Jessica Wetherbee, Elishua Foster, James Blake FosterKristin, Dayton Foster;
4 Great Grandchildren – Madison Edenfield, Alicia Foster, Lyndsey Foster, Laelyn Foster.

Funeral service will be held 4:00PM, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
