James Isaac Frazier – 83
Of Lakeland, GA passed away on October 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born on September 6, 1930 in Sanford, FL to Isaac Abraham and Jewell Griffin Frazier. He worked 47 years with the South Georgia Grocery Company/Suwannee Swifty Stores and served in the United States Army. He served as a Trustee of the original First Baptist Church of Lakeland, served 12 years on the City Council in Lakeland, and was also a former Louis Smith Hospital Authority Board member. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death a sister, Ruby F. Brooks, and a brother, Joseph E. Frazier, and a son-in-law, Ronald L. Mosier.
His survivors include, his Wife of 57 years, Betty Yant Frazier of Lakeland, GA; Daughters & Sons-in-Law, Debbie Mullin of Lakeland, GA; Judy DaughartyBo Royal of Lakeland, GA; Lynn & Wayne Dombroski of Brooks, GA; Grandchildren, Jay MosierCara, Jessica D. StoneDaryl, Drew Dombroski, and Sydney Dombroski; Great Grandchildren, Madilen Lyla Mosier and Luke Parker Stone; Brothers, Robert E. Frazier and Theodore J. Ericson of Hot Springs, AR; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, October 5, 2013 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in the Good Hope Cemetery.
