James Carlisle Gardner

Of Lakeland passed away Monday, September 15, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Patrick, S.C. to the late Simeon and Essie Hodge Gardner. He was a golf course developer. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lakeland.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in the Greenlawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service.
