James Earnest Gaskins

James Earnest Gaskins, age 58 of Nashville, Georgia died, Sunday, April 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. James was born to the late Evelyn Virginia Skinner Trapp and Earnest Carlton Gaskins on July 16, 1962 in Lakeland, Georgia. He worked in the Warranty Department of Chaparral Boats in Nashville. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather; enjoyed fishing and hunting, but being outdoors was his all time favorite. He was preceded in death by his parents.
His is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lanita Hendley Gaskins daughter, Araisha G. Holloway and husband Shawn, a son, James Earnest Gaskins, Jr.; one brother, Ronny Gaskins and wife Jackie, all of Nashville, Georgia; 2 sisters, Sherry G. Pearson of Lakeland, Georgia, Peggy G. Trout and husband Alan of Nashville, Georgia; also, many nieces and nephews survive.
Private family services will be held at a later date. The James Earnest Gaskins family is being cared for by the Professional Staff of Music Funeral Services, Lakeland, Georgia.
