James “Jim” Perkins, Jr. 78
Of Hahira passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in the Lakeland Villas after a lengthy illness. He was born September 4, 1940 in Plant City, FL to the late James O’Neal Sr. and Corrine Barker Perkins. Jim worked clearing land as a Heavy Equipment operator for many years, and was a member of Ousley Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 Sisters, Pat Dubois, Mary Dunkle, and Cherry Perkins.

Wife of 10 years Dian C. Perkins of Hahira, GA, Daughter Darlene Giarrusso of Orlando, FL
Son & Daughter-in-Law Darryl & Karrie Perkins of St. Louis MO, 7 Grandchildren; Angela Giarrusso, Mandy (Sean)Davidson Justin Perkins, Chloe Perkins, Hailey Perkins, Joe Giarrusso, Michael Giarrusso, 4 Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. in Ousley Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Saturday at the church. Sympathy may be expressed online at
