Of Valdosta passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 in Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.. He was born June 4, 1954 in Douglas, GA to the late Johnnie Alfred Trowell and Udell Bryan Trowell of Coffee County, GA. Mr. Trowell was a History Teacher for Lowndes County High School and was a member of Gateway Baptist Church where he served as a Chairman for the Board of Deacons.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Gateway Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Seiverd officiating. Mr. Trowell will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. Graveside services will follow at 2:00P.M. at Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffee County. The family will receive friends this evening Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home
