James “Thomas” Sapp, age 65, of Nashville passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, in Inverness, FL. Mr. Sapp was born on January 29, 1956 to the late Hazel Marie Kilpatrick and William Thomas Sapp in Willacoochee, GA. Thomas worked as a cabinet maker and owner/operator of Sapp Custom Cabinets. He was a loving husband and father that enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thomas enjoyed being in the outdoors and particularly loved fishing and working on old cars.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Bailey Sapp of Nashville, GA.; daughter and son-in law, Lanette S. and Raymond Dampier of Nashville, GA.; son, Chris Bailey of Nashville, GA.; son, Will Sapp and fiancé Amber Haven of Nashville, GA.; son and daughter-in-law, Joe Sapp and wife Jessica of Nashville, GA.; 11 Grandchildren: Miranda, Savannah, Aiden, Landon, Jacob, Maddie, Dayton, Kaylee, Madi, Brantley and Paxton; 2 Great grandchildren: Riley and Memphis; 2 Brothers: Johnny Sapp and Eugene Sapp both of Nashville, GA., 3 Sisters: Willene S. Sullivan and husband James of Nashville, GA., Janice S. Sims of Tupelo, MS and Sue S. Rowe and husband Tony of Nashville, GA.
Services will be held at 2:00 O’clock p.m., Tuesday, May 25 in the chapel of Music Funeral Services, Lakeland, with burial to follow in the Empire Cemetery.
