Of Lakeland passed away Thursday September 22, 2005 in the Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Scott was born September 12, 1929 in Tampa, Fl. to the late Edward & Ruth Kay Scott. He was a mechanic for 45 years & had served in the National Guard for 10 years. Mr. Scott attended the First Baptist Church in Lakeland. He was preceded in death by his parents, a Mother & Father-in-law, Chess & Lucile Meadows, a Brother-in-Law, Earl Connell, a cousin, Wilma Souther & 2 Nephews Ray Connell & Lenny Connell.
