Janet Naomi Culpin – 83
Of Lakeland, Georgia passed on July 20, 2025, at Select Memorial, Tallahassee. Mrs. Culpin was born in Cambridge, England on January 22, 1942, to late, Geofrey Ernest Rule and Joyce Edith Rule.
Janet was a beloved member of the Mariner Nursing Home team, working as a CNA where she earned the title of Employee of the Month. She took great pride in her work, always bringing warmth, care, and a joyful spirit to those around her.
A gifted and passionate crafter, she had a remarkable talent for knitting and crocheting—often completing an entire outfit for a child in just one day. Her creativity and skill brought comfort and joy to many, and her handmade pieces were cherished by all who received them.
She also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life —relaxing with her favorite TV shows, browsing Amazon for the perfect find, and making her home a welcoming place for family and friends. She had a gift for entertaining, and her gatherings were always filled with laughter, good food, and love.
Along with her parents, she is preceded by her son, Mark William Culpin, and beloved husband, William Herman Culpin.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Donald T. McNulty of Lakeland; grandchildren, Brandon, Benjamin, Bryson and Brittany McNulty.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated with no services held. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
