Janet Stearman Edmondson – 58
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on July 8, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on July 27, 1959 in Shreveport, LA to Joshua and Eloise (Williams) Griffin. She was devoted to her family and church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Edmondson, III, a brother, Parker Eastwood, a brother-in-law, Vaughan Edmondson, and a sister-in-law, Judy Sullins.
Survivors include her Son, Ben Edmondson of Valdosta, GA; Sister and Brother-in-law, Cindy and Chuck Sheffield of Quitman, GA; Brother, James Lee Stearman of Barney, GA; Brothers and Sister-in-laws, Ed and Julie Griffin of Akins, SC and Joshua Lee and Sissy Griffin, III of Barney, Ga; Sister-in-laws and brother-in-law, Mary K. Edmondson of Barney, GA, Linda and Bobby Gunter of Thomasville, GA, Mary E. Edmondson of Valdosta, GA, Larry and Rhonda Edmondson of Valdosta, GA; Special Friends, Trish & Steve Edmondson, Zack Edmondson, Zane Edmondson, Jeniffer and Andrew Thompson all of Brooks County and numerous nieces, nephew and extended family members.
