Janet Swann – 79
Of Valdosta passed away Saturday evening, December 31, 2016 at the Fellowship Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Washington, D.C. on October 2, 1937 to the late Forrest & Lucille McKinley McDaniel. She worked with Federal Government as a Computer Programmer for over 30 years and then worked in the Department of Education with the State of Maryland. She loved the Washington Redskins and spending time with all of her family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her 2 half sisters, Mildred Walkup, Martha Poorman, Half Brother, Bill Cook and 2 brothers, Allan McDaniel & Tom McDaniel.
Survivors Include: 3 Sons & Daughter-in-law: Randy & Irina Hall, Cincinnati, Ohio, David Hall, Valdosta, Ga, Dennis Hall, Huntingtown, Maryland; Granddaughter: Lisa Chaney Richard, Valdosta; Grandson: Doug Hall, Nashville; Great Grandchildren: Callie, Caden, Maya & Marley; Sister: Sue Pickard, Locust Grove, Virginia; Sister-in-law: Susan McDaniel, Locust Grove, Virginia and a number of nieces and nephews
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2016 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
