Of Lakeland, GA passed away early Tuesday morning, October 8, 2019 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 25, 1943 in Lakeland, GA to the late John P. and Louise (Kent) Moore. She was a dedicated employee for Farmers and Merchants Bank for over 56 years.
Survivors include her Daughter & Son-in-Law, Ginger & Paul Griffis of Lakeland, GA; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Joie and Heather Conner of Lakeland, GA; Grandchildren, Kari Maddox (Samuel), Laura Griffis; Sister & Brother-in-Law, Hazel Moore Knowles (Conrad) of Ridgeland, SC; Brother & Sister-in-Law, Britt & Judy Moore of Waycross, GA; Nieces & Nephews, Pam Knowles, Chip Knowles, Kevan Knowles, Clint Moore, Amy Morrison (David); and a Great Niece & Nephew, Ivy Knowles and Cisco Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Unity United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the cemetery. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home in Lakeland.
