Janice Taylor – 79 of Valdosta passed Friday, August 16, 2019 away at her residence surrounded by her loving family & devoted caregiver, Jennifer Doub after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 25, 1939 in Valdosta to the late Sephas & Mary (Cooper) Craven. On December 15, 1957 she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Larry Jack Taylor. She spent her life dedicated to him and raising their children: Nikki & Jason. As time went on her motherly instinct turned to her grandchildren: Kayla, Macie & Emily. As age made it difficult to get outside, she focused on keeping her house tidy, beds made and a hot meal on the table. Janice loved her family, working in the yard, taking care of her ferns and cats – Jack & Cuddles. She was a lifelong member of Providence United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Taylor, grandson William McArthur, III & sister & brother-in-law, Joe & Ruby Cabral.
