0f Lakeland, GA passed away Wednesday, April 09, 2014 in South Georgia Medical Center after a fight with Cancer. He was born March 17, 1967 to the late Calvin Fender and his mother Dorothy Jean Guthrie Fender in Jacksonville, FL. He loved to build things using his hands, and His love for building things helped Him start Fender and Sons Construction. He helped run this company for over twenty years, until His ill health forced retirement. His favorite pastimes were spending time with family and friends, bass fishing, and hunting. He was a Baptist by faith and will be missed dearly by His family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in Southside Baptist Church of Lakeland with burial in Fender Cemetery in Lanier County, GA. The family will receive friends Friday, April 11, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. He will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to services on Saturday.
