She was born November 1, 1935 in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Wilford G. and Ethel Mae Heath Hepburn. She worked as the Corporate Executive Secretary for Patten Seed Company in Lakeland, Georgia for 46 years. She was a member of the Unity United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Pafford, and a great grandchild, Levin Pafford.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in the Unity United Methodist Church and burial will follow in Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. . Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the family.
