Of Valdosta died Sunday Dec.25 2011 of a sudden illness.
Survivors include one son, Roy Pilkinton, three grandchildren, Anthony, Alan and Eric Pilkinton and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Leroy Merritt Valdosta William Edgar Merritt Texas and one sister Ethel Floyd Valdosta.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2011 in Redland Baptist Church.
