Jeanette Sirmans

Of Lakeland passed away Friday, October 31, 2003 at Shand’s Hospital in Gainesville, Florida after a brief illness. She was born in Gilchrist County, Florida and had lived in Lakeland for most of her life and was Baptist by faith. For the past 20 years was she involved in child care. She was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Sirmans and a son Terry Eugene Sirmans. Survivors include: Husband Leon Sirmans Lakeland, Georgia Son and Daughter- in – Law Wayne and Lisa Sirmans Lakeland, Georgia 1 Granddaughter Shelli Sirmans Lakeland, Georgia 2 Sisters Mae Gaskins Jacksonville, Florida Lillie Mae Dees Lake City, Florida And a number of nieces and nephews: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Southside Baptist Church with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Sirmans will be placed in the church one hour prior to service. Visitation will begin after 4:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2003. The family will be gathering at the home of Wayne and Lisa Sirmans.
