Of Valdosta passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 in South Georgia Medical Center.. She was born in Berrien County on June 2, 1924 to the late Joseph & Alice Lewis Mathis. She was a resident of Lakehaven Nursing Home in Valdosta and had lived in Berrien County and Lowndes County all of her life. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Valdosta. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Warren, five sisters and four brothers

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Pastor John Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in Cat Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the funeral home.
