Of Lakeland, passed away early Saturday April 9, 2005 at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Ms. Weed was born January 1, 1935 to the late Ainsworth Buck and Jessie Mae Screws Murray. She was a member of the Lakeland United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Suzanna Wesley Circle and the Action Bunch Sunday School Class. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and grandchildren, Zachary Jestings, Edward Jestings, and Duncan Weed

Funeral Services were held Monday April 11, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lakeland United Methodist Church with burial following in Burnt Church Cemetery.
