Jeannie Marie Carte – 74
Of Valdosta passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 in the Brooks County Hospital in Quitman, Georgia. She was born on June 29, 1947 in Montgomery, West Virginia to the late Charles Wilson and Madeline Dobbs Cotton. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lissie Carte, Sr, daughter, Carol and 11 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: Sons: Lissie Carte, Jr and wife Crystal, Itmann, West Virginia, Charles Carte and wife Deborah, Valdosta, Georgia and Allen Carte and wife Kayla, Adel, Georgia; 9 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Sister and Brother-in-Law: Beverly and Wayne Baker, Hahira, Georgia and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
