Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Albemarle, NC on August 14, 1942 to the late Herman Allen Brown and the late Mary Holt Rhyne. He was retired from Fleet Supply Company. He was a Lay Leader for Providence United Methodist Church for four years and also the Secretary of the Men's Club at the church. He was a friend to all who knew him and was liked by all. Jeff loved life to the fullest and enjoyed golf, reading and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
His survivors include
Daughter & Son-in-Law, Teri & Donald Perkins of Wadesboro, NC;
Son & Daughter-in-Law, Chris & Teri Brown of Coats, NC;
4 Grandchildren, Scout Perkins, Ayla Perkins, Lydia Brown, Allen Brown;
Sister, Linda Stover of Gastonia, NC;
Special Friend, Nikki McArthur of Valdosta, GA;
And several extended family and church members.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Music Funeral Services in Valdosta, GA from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM.
